Bid Writer / Bid Manager - A position is now available for a bid writer / Bid Manager to join the our clients team on a full time basis. 3 days within offices based in Bromley, Kent and two from home.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to join a growing main contractor. They carry out healthcare, education and leisure construction projects including new build and refurbishment throughout London, Essex and the South East.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the tender opportunity from inception to submission.
- Create the opportunity file
- Distribute documents and manage progress checking on progress of Quantity surveyors, health and safety manager and any other party involved in the tender.
- Delegate specific tasks to members of the team
- Ensure tenders are complete ahead of submission date for review by the directors
- Keeping up to date with latest legislation and requirements
- Working alongside our ISO / Compliance manager ensuring our accreditation and policies are up to date
- Producing case studies for projects when complete for use in tender bids
- Following up completed projects with testimonials.
- Managing portals online to search opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Excellent IT skills - Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar position
- High level writing ability of the English language - The role in bid writing requires someone who enjoys reading and has a ability to write clear well written English language.
Salary:
- £45,000 - £65,000 experience dependant.
