Job description

Bid Writer / Bid Manager - A position is now available for a bid writer / Bid Manager to join the our clients team on a full time basis. 3 days within offices based in Bromley, Kent and two from home.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to join a growing main contractor. They carry out healthcare, education and leisure construction projects including new build and refurbishment throughout London, Essex and the South East.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the tender opportunity from inception to submission.
  • Create the opportunity file
  • Distribute documents and manage progress checking on progress of Quantity surveyors, health and safety manager and any other party involved in the tender.
  • Delegate specific tasks to members of the team
  • Ensure tenders are complete ahead of submission date for review by the directors
  • Keeping up to date with latest legislation and requirements
  • Working alongside our ISO / Compliance manager ensuring our accreditation and policies are up to date
  • Producing case studies for projects when complete for use in tender bids
  • Following up completed projects with testimonials.
  • Managing portals online to search opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent IT skills - Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar position
  • High level writing ability of the English language - The role in bid writing requires someone who enjoys reading and has a ability to write clear well written English language.

Salary:

  • £45,000 - £65,000 experience dependant.
  • Generous package to match.
