One of the leading educational establishments in North Wales, has an opportunity for a Welsh Speaking Receptionist to assist its friendly team based in Dolgellau on a temporary contract for roughly 3 weeks.
Reporting to the Learning Services Manager, you will be supporting the team with general reception duties, taking bookings, gathering information, maintaining records and supporting events.
As a Welsh Speaking Receptionist/Administrative Assistant your main responsibilities will be:
- Welcoming guests that come onto site and directing them to the appropriate person/location
- Receive and allocate telephone calls on the main switchboard
- Receive and allocate incoming external mail pertaining to the commercial aspects of the department
- Provide general information on appointment and booking opportunities to potential clients as requested
- Communication of the full range of services to clients
- Actively ensure that requests for particular types of customers and clients are met by contacting potential clients to make bookings
- Provide information on actual bookings and issues surrounding bookings prior to them taking place
- Ensure that the website is kept up to date with information about the commercial outlets of the department
- Utilise suitable marketing materials to promote the commercial side of the business
- Assist in the organisation of special events offered to customers
- Provide a central point for all guests for information and bookings.
- When required, oversee learners making new bookings with existing customers.
We are really keen to see your CV if you have the following skills and experience:
- Experience within an administrative role including handling confidential information.
- Excellent communication through the medium Welsh and English.
- Educated to level 3 with a good general standard of education to include GCSE at Grade C, or above, in English, or equivalent e.g. Key Skills.
- Excellent IT skills including MS Office and google suite.
- Ability to work as a team member and be flexible, adaptable and approachable.
- Ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner when working under pressure.
- Ability to cope with a range of tasks at any one time and prioritise workload accordingly.

- A Current Enhanced DBS Certificate, or willing to undertake a DBS check is essential
This is a Full-time role working Monday - Friday. In exchange, you will receive a pay rate of £10.93 per hour plus holiday pay. This is a Temporary position for approximately 1 Month.
