ediplacements is recruiting for an experienced band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry for a locum role with our client located in Surrey.The pay for this position is GBP23-GBP25 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.Days/time required: Mondays to Fridays 09:00 to 17:30 (I hour unpaid lunch). No bank holidays.Essential SkillsStrick adherence to standard operating procedureExcellent pipettingAccurate weighting Using volumetric apparatusBuffer preparationIntegrationData handling Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)Responsibilities:- Perform laboratory tests, including routine and specialized tests in the Biochemistry Department- Monitor and maintain quality control standards- Interpret results accurately and provide reports to medical staff- Maintain accurate records of tests performed, results obtained and equipment used- Troubleshoot, calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentsThe successful candidate must be HCPC registered and have experience in Biochemistry.When you work with Mediplacements, you will have access to a range of benefits that will support you in your role.
