Position: Qualified Teacher of Biology Location: Redbridge, London Salary: M1-UPS3 (Outer London Pay Scale) Start Date: ASAP, Temporary leading to Permanent
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring Biology lessons to Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 students.
- Motivate and support students to achieve their academic potential in Biology.
- Use effective teaching strategies to promote active learning and student participation.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching Biology across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student progress and academic excellence.
