Job description

The University of Greenwich is undergoing an exciting transformation, with the launch of a new strategy motivated by an ethos of ‘Education without Boundaries’. This is already driving exceptional performance as evidenced in our recent TEF2023 where we have been awarded Gold.

Our BioMed Online learning (https://biomedonline.co.uk) provision is a collaboration with NHS trusts/hospitals and Public Health England which has successfully supported the needs of our local, regional, national, and global healthcare communities for over 20 years through delivery of online CPD courses and postgraduate programmes – from PGCert to MSc.

To maintain this impetus for growth and success, BioMed Online is seeking to appoint an Operations Coordinator. The successful candidate will contribute to the activities and growth of BioMed Online through efficient and effective management of the Biomed team and all administrative functions and ensure that a high level of professional delivery of short courses for CPD and award-bearing programmes is always maintained.

We are looking for an experienced and competent individual with excellent organisational and communication skills who understands the challenges of effectively supporting and coordinating a team. The ideal candidate will have experience of maintaining effective internal and external relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, Professional Services staff, Faculty staff and high-profile external visitors. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact within Biomed Online and provide advice and customer-focused service to students and stakeholders.

If you would like to help us deliver our mission of transforming lives through inspired teaching, we would welcome your application to join us.
