Biomedical Scientist - Blood Sciences

Salary: Up to 35,750 DoE 37.5 hours per week
SYK Recruitment is partnering with a leading not-for-profit healthcare organisation to hire a Biomedical Scientist (Blood Sciences) for their Oxford Hospital.
As a Biomedical Scientist, you will:
- Maintain sanitised workspaces and equipment.
- Administer blood product supply, ensuring controlled blood stocks.
- Contribute to standard operating procedure review and implementation.
- Assist in statistical production and analysis.
- Participate in the department's on-call rota.
- Assist in laboratory audits aligned with the quality management strategy.
- Perform biomedical diagnostic testing and reporting following standard operating procedures.
- Conduct quality control procedures, reporting issues to senior staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of specimens and results.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration
- Minimum 2 years post-registration laboratory experience, preferably in Blood Sciences and/or Blood Transfusion.
- Proficient in various analytical equipment and multi-disciplinary techniques.
