Are you an experienced editor with strong leadership skills, a passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of what makes a great character?

If so, Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for you.

We are looking for a talented Managing Editor to lead Black Library's editorial team and pool of freelance authors. As an experienced manager with a background in publishing or a similar creative field, you will be responsible for producing a compelling range of books and products that bring the worlds of Warhammer to life for fans around the world.

Working with some of the biggest names in sci-fi and fantasy fiction, you will be responsible for developing and delivering Black Library's schedule, while also discovering, recruiting and developing the next generation of talented writers.

You will develop compelling tie-in novels, standalone titles and on-going series across our major IPs, including Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar and the Horus Heresy, working collaboratively with Games Workshops' other creative studios. As a member of Black Library's management team, you will contribute to the team's overall strategic vision, while fostering productive working relationships with internal departments, including Sales, Production, Art and Design.

In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and option to join our Share Save scheme. Oh and let's not forget, a staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products!
