Salary: £40k per annum
Our client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Block Manager/Commercial Property Manager to join their growing team in Cheshire. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential blocks (& some commercial), ensuring that they are maintained to a high standard and that all necessary works are carried out in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities:
Prepare annual service charge budgets
Manage section 20 consultation processes for major works
Liaise with contractors to ensure that works are carried out to a high standard and within budget
Respond to enquiries from leaseholders and tenants regarding maintenance and repairs
Attend AGMs, client and director meetings
Ensure that properties comply with health and safety regulations
Monitor service charge collection to ensure that funds are available to carry out necessary works
Work closely with the senior management team to provide exceptional customer service to clients
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within property management or estate agency
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Knowledge of section 20 consultation processes and service charge budgeting
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential
