We have a great opportunity for an experienced Board Secretary/ Executive Assistant/ PA to join Ty Hafan.About TyHafanTy Hafan is one of the UKs leading paediatric palliative care charities and offers palliative care and dedicated support to children and young people with life-shortening conditions across Wales, and their families, at our hospice in Sully, in community settings, and in the family home. With children and families at the heart of all we do, we provide free care and support in our hospice and in the community, offering a lifeline throughout the childs short life, at end of life, through bereavement and beyond.?Our Values: At Ty Hafan we make a difference by living our values: Demonstrating Compassion, Providing Excellent Service, Working Together and Taking Ownership.About the roleThe Board Secretary will provide comprehensive, efficient, and professional administration and PA support to the Chairperson and the Board of trustees, enabling trustees to manage the administration of the Charity and discharge their governance duties, in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.As the Board Secretary you will be highly organised, proactive, self-motivated and confident in using your own initiative while also being able to take direction. You will have excellent administration skills and with meticulous attention to detail, as well as excellent interpersonal skills and having demonstrable experience in a role focused on providing effective administration and PA support at board level in a dynamic organisation.The nature of the role requires the post-holder to have a high standard of verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to be exceptionally discreet and tactful, always maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality. You will empathise with our purpose and be willing to go above and beyond, when required, to ensure that our Chairperson and trustees can fulfil their responsibilities.The Charity has hybrid working in place, and the post-holder will be required to usually work on-site 2 days per week, typically a Wednesday, with flexibility on the other days to meet the needs of the Chairperson and board.The
