We have a unique opportunity available for a Body & Equipment Mounting Manual (BEMM) Author for rolling contract based in Dunton, Essex (hybrid options available)

Position Description:

• Using the clients Global Product Development System (GPDS) framework, review program change content using gateway papers and Program Direction Letters (PDLs) to evaluate impact to the current published BEMM.
• Based on the change content, attend Program meetings to request and consolidate input from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) at key gateways of the GPDS process.
• When required, facilitate cross-functional discussions to agree a consensus of the updated content and wording.
• When authoring the BEMM, remain customer focussed, and consider the document will be translated into 7 x European languages.
• Work to the BEMM loading/capacity chart to manage updates & translations.
• Track all open issues to closure and develop action plans to deliver on time.

Skills Required:

PDL, Adobe In-Design, Illustrator, Phototshop, TeamCentre, VisMockup, Sharepoint, Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).

Outstanding communication skills, both written & oral.

Prior experience of the client systems/tools, specifically PDL, TeamCentre and Adobe In-Design
