We are currently on the lookout for a Bodyshop PDR Technician to join our established team at Snows Accident Repair Centre.

Your day

ThePDR Technicianis a member of the Bodyshop Team and will report to the SMART Operations Manager. The PDR Technician is a mobile role and is responsible for all internal and external paintless dent removals and windscreen chips. Your day will include:

• Working to a schedule
• Visits to retail, commercial and internal sites
• Report any damage that cannot be repaired by PDR to your Smart Operations Manager
• Paintless dent removal repairs
• Glass/Chip repairs
• Use of Mop to remove minor scratches.
• Light MET work as required to gain access for paintless dent repairs.
• Liaise with you manager to maximise thru put and revenue.
• Use of Auto Pad for diarising work and managing work volumes
• Ensure PPE is used correctly, and correct Health and Safety procedures followed when using tooling and equipment.
• Use of company vehicle for personal and business use

Have you got what it takes?

• Confidence working independently and managing your time effectively.
• Skilled in all aspects of paintless dent removal
• Competent with light MET to enable PDR repairs.
• Windscreen chip repair
• Use of iPad and camera
• Computer literate and ability to navigate around management system.
• Estimating and invoicing your own repairs

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 (with 30 minutes for lunch)
