SalaryBoiler Operative - 6 Month contract - £300 - £400 per day.
I am currently looking for 2x Boiler Operatives for a large manufacturer in Chwillog in Wales.
These Boiler Operative positions will be aiding in the cover of 24/7 operations and offer a flexible shift pattern. Either a 4on 4off or a 4 and 3 rotation or other suitable shift pattern.
There are three oil fired boilers in configuration / arrangement 1.
Key Responsibilities of the Boiler Operative
- Provide on operational, maintenance and engineering support to the 3 boilers on site.
- Proactively support customer accounts ensuring their assets are compliant and reliable.
- Complete daily operations and maintenance tasks on critical assets such as Steam, Oil and Hot Water systems.
- Provide support for the engineering project delivery team through out the UK.
- Create strong working relationships with customers by understanding their sites, systems and service requirements.
- Support regular client/contract review meetings and contract audits when required.
Requirements:
- Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme (BOAS) qualification.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Proven Operations and Maintenance experience.
- Relevant qualification in an engineering or maintenance discipline, or proof of industrial engineering/ plant operations experience.
- Candidates must be able to complete night shifts.
Desirable attributes:
- Good Technical understanding of Oil Boilers, Steam and Hot Water Systems, plus associated equipment (e.g. pumps, valves, controls). *further training will be provided.
- Proven ability to complete daily/ weekly checks and maintenance on Steam and Hot Water systems. *further training will be provided.
What we offer
- This role offers a high rate of pay (£300 to £400 per day) on a 6 month contract.
- Flexible shift pattern, 4on4off, 4on3off, 3on4off (rotation) (5on2off, 2on5off rotation) etc. As long as it provides 24/7 cover this can be agreed to what works best for the operatives.
- At the end of the contract, you can apply for a permanent role
