This Bookkeeper position is a key role within our Accounting & Finance department, integral to maintaining smooth financial operations. This role involves meticulous record-keeping, thorough checks, and prompt payments, ensuring all staff and sub-contractors receive their correct payment on time.

Description
- Manage all payroll processes and ensure they're completed accurately and on time
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all staff/sub-contractor payments
- Manage invoicing
- VAT Returns
- Perform regular audits to identify and rectify any discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies
- Liaise with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll
- Respond to any payroll queries from staff in a professional and timely manner
- Provide regular reports to management on payroll operations
- Assist in any other accounting duties as required
Profile
A successful Payroll should have:
- Strong knowledge around HMRC regulations as well as managing sales ledger invoicing.
- Experience in a similar Payroll/Purchase Ledger role
- Strong numerical and data analysis skills
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with both staff and management
- Proficiency in finance software
