Bookkeeper

A seafood Wholesaler is seeking an a book keeper to join their team. Based in Canary Wharf at Billingsgate Market and the hours are 7am-2pm Tuesday or Friday.

You’ll be qualified, or studying towards a professional qualification (AAT or ACCA), with experience using spreadsheets and accountancy software, including sage 50. You’ll have strong technical skills, have a can-do attitude to problem-solving, and be experienced to hit the ground running.

Preparation of VAT returns Bookkeeping services using spreadsheets/ database entry Bank reconciliations Preparing invoices Preparation of self-assessment tax returns Recording of the accounting information, and the preparation of VAT returns from the bank records, in various software, such as Sage 50, etc High attention to detail and technically proficient Handle other related duties as required Preparing end of year accounts
