Job description

Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper / Administrator to join our expanding storage company based in Smethwick.The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in processing payments and invoicing as well as assisting other departments in the smooth and efficient operation of the facility.Duties include (but are not limited to):-Processing payments, invoices, income, and receipts-Preparing financial statements showing income and expenditure-Accurate data entry and creating of invoices onto SAGE and sales receipts-Daily customer order processing / invoicing- Goods in documentation- Booking in stock and running reports- Communicate with suppliers and customer to address inquiries and resolve issues- Assist in maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment- Dealing with customers via phone and email with incoming and outgoing queries- Data entry, retrieval, and database maintenanceThe ideal candidate:-Previous experience within a finance role-Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal sales team-Strong organisational / time management-Good attention to detail-Knowledge of SAGE is essential-Proficient with Excel-Strong IT skills-Able to work off own iniatives as well as in a teamHours of Work: 9am - 5pm from Monday to FridayPay Rate: £11 per hourThis position offers an immediate start on a temporary basis with a view to go permanent after a successful trial period.If you have the relevant experience and would like to be considered for this position, please apply with your CV.
