If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our client as a BPI Program Lead at our Eastbourne location. Job Summary: As the BPI Program Lead, your mission is to spearhead LEAN activities for continuous improvement within production areas. Your primary goal will be to eliminate waste, enhance productivity on individual lines and machines, and implement and fortify the elements of our Vacuum Technique Production System (VTPS). You'll play a crucial role in coaching and training team members on VTPS philosophy and fostering a KAIZEN culture. Key Responsibilities for the BPI Program Lead: Drive the implementation of VTPS management system and cultivate a VTPS cultural enhancement across the plant. Collaborate with Engineering teams to ensure alignment with VTPS during the implementation of new technologies and operations. Implement LEAN techniques to establish workplaces in line with the LEAN philosophy, ensuring ergonomic work processes and following the Change Review Worksheet process. Collaborate with Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Specialists to enhance ergonomics in production workplaces. Develop and maintain up-to-date work standards for operators and collaborate on man-machine ratio projects within production. Utilize LEAN, Six Sigma, and other best practices for day-to-day problem-solving and continuous improvement. Coach manufacturing team members on the correct application of Six Sigma tools. Introduce LEAN basics and VTPS core elements during on-the-job training for new employees. Lead and report on regular VTPS walk meetings and activities to the management team. Establish and oversee a 6S audit system and regular assessments across the plant. Skills/Knowledge/Experience BPI Program Lead: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Lean production or a related discipline. Minimum of 3 years' experience in manufacturing or lean production. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, quality tools, safety management tools, and project management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ERP systems. B1 level proficiency in English (written and spoken). Desired: Master's degree, Lean certification, or knowledge of SAP. Commitment to continuous self-development.
