Job Purpose
This position is primarily to support the Branch colleagues by delivering excellent customer service and supporting in the smooth running of the Branch operations.
Qualifications required
· 5 A-C GCSE’s or equivalent
· Clean Driving License
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required
· Industry experience would be desirable (full training will be given)
· Experience in cash handling
· Proven sales and customer background
· Resilient and results driven
· Confident in approaching new prospect customers (Training will be given)
· Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, colleagues and internal teams
· Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
· Ability to work accurately and with strong attention to detail
· Demonstrate flexibility and team-working in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the overall business
· Knowledge of products would be advantageous
· Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating passion around service and the customer journey
· Intermediate level of PC literacy – MS Office. Word, Excel
Key Results Areas
· Ensuring all orders are processed accurately and on time, in full.
· Ensure that customers in the showroom are dealt with politely and efficiently.
· All cash handling must be dealt with in line with company policy.
· Achieve sales and margin targets of the branch.
· Target new customers and be pro-active, following up on all enquiries.
· Develop, own and manage personal customer portfolio
· Ensure that all held orders are chased and customers contacted for payments.
· Help out with stock take when required.
· Complete all sales reports as required
· Ensure the showroom is always to a high standard including full samples, brochures, promotions and maintain general housekeeping.
