Howdens Joinery are looking for a Brand & Category Marketing Manager to join our busy marketing team based from our office in Raunds, Northamptonshire.
Supporting the creation and implementation of a brand category focussed marketing plan whilst bridging the gap between the Marketing Brand and Category teams.
In your role you will:
- Specifically manage Howdens category and brand marketing activity plan
- Lead activity from a category perspective and support the implementation of the overall marketing plan.
- Brief and manage Depot POS and category local marketing materials, ensuring always on brand, working closely with the Senior Brand Marketing Manager where required.
- Build relationships with suppliers to gather product and brand training content targeted to Instigate follow-up actions to support the depots where required.
- Work with commercial teams and internal comms to drive the creation of product specific documents ensuring depots understand ranges, NPI, trade up and down options, features and benefits.
- Engage stakeholders across the business, including L&D, Regional Learning Partners, Depot Support Managers, Marketing and Digital, Category and & Product Development teams to ensure alignment with projects and objectives.
What we need from you:
- Experience of Category Marketing or Marketing Communications in a fast-paced, trade or retail category or marketing environment
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced trade category or marketing environment
- Have a logical and methodical approach with strong planning and organisational skills
- Be highly motivated with a customer focus.
- Have strong presentation skills and ability to present to audiences at all levels.
- Eye for design with attention to detail.
- Able to deal with ambiguity and is a natural problem solver.
- Kitchen/trade industry experience is advantageous.
- CIM qualification is desirable.
