This fantastic role sits within our talented Brand and Campaigns team, and will take responsibility for embedding the Costa Coffee unique brand identity, ensuring all visual representations of the brand are following the guidelines, and are well suited for different platforms/international markets. 

We are seeking someone whose career roots originated in a consumer marketing environment and who wants to blend their creative Brand Design skills with passion for the coffee market.  This role will be a unique combination of leading the creation and delivery of always-on brand assets for deployment across the global marketing network, with a sprinkling of performing a vital role of being an internal brand consult, and provide guidance for design development for all consumer touchpoints.  The foam on the top is you get to work within a passionate, talented Marketing Brand team driving forward our much-loved brand.

A bit about the role...

Day to day, you’ll be responsible for Brand Design, as well as core asset management.  Additionally you will be:

• Ensuring our much-loved brand shows up consistently across platforms and markets.
• Supporting the delivery of a Global brand plan, which will enable regional NSR and category growth targets.
• Working with our creative agency to manage product and lifestyle photoshoots
• Sharing Costa Coffee brand and its core assets across the world working with our network and market teams
• Manage budgets and processes, to ensure projects are successfully delivered on time

A bit about you…

A passion and understanding of Brand Design is just the start of what for. So, what else makes a great Design and Development Manager at Costa? 

• Experience working in Marketing and Brand Design roles, preferably in Retail / FMCG/Hospitality industries.
• Exceptional flair and creative development skills with clarity on how to brief, develop, and challenge creative ideas
• Have previously worked with and owned and managed relationships with creative, design, brand and media agencies
• Strong knowledge of brand-building foundations, with an appreciation of the levers of brand-building. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate their ability to understand marketing across the full spectrum of channels (through the line)
• Exceptional natural communicator with highly developed interpersonal skills: able to lead and influence diverse cross-functional teams to create new solutions
• An abundance of initiative and passion and highly self-motivated
• Proactive and team player – willing to roll sleeves up, comfortable dealing with ambiguity, and comfortably adapting to changes in business priorities

Location: Remote role with the ability to travel to Costa office in Central London a minimum of 2 days per week
