So marketing here really happens at scale. We move a lot faster than you’d think too, across Brand Planning, Brand Comms and Creative, Digital Marketing, CRM and Loyalty, Nectar 360, Insights, and Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability. More people shopping with us each week means more interactions. And thanks to data insight, we understand customers in a way that almost nobody else does. We work alongside incredible brand partners and the best agencies around. So if you have a passion to learn, grow and experience new teams, come and explore it all with us.

Marketing - Brand Expression and Governance Executive
Why join us
Joining our Brand Expression and Governance Team at Sainsbury's means becoming a crucial part of our commitment to Creative Excellence and being the brand guardian for all our beloved brands - Sainsbury's, Argos, Habitat and Tu. You will have the opportunity to shape and maintain the visual identities and brand toolkits, ensuring consistent and compelling brand experiences for our customers and colleagues. As an experienced brand guardian, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders and agency partners to build trusting relationships and provide valuable expertise in content decisions. With a strong emphasis on quality, consistency, and creative excellence, you will have the chance to make complex decisions at pace, balancing the protectionism of the brand with pragmatism to deliver exceptional results. At Sainsbury's, we value work-life balance and provide flexibility, allowing you to have a fulfilling career while enjoying time for yourself outside of work.

What you'll do
As the Brand Expression and Governance Executive, you will be an integral part of our Brand Expression and Governance Team, serving as the brand guardian for all our brands within Sainsbury's (including Argos, Habitat and Tu). Your primary responsibility will be ensuring the consistent visual identities and brand toolkits for each brand. You will build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders and agency partners, supporting clients in defining their content requirements and providing expert advice. Additionally, you will chair and navigate the weekly Brand Clinic meeting, providing clear and consistent brand feedback on creative work. You will be responsible for multi-brand, multi-channel comms sign-off, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines. Your attention to detail, strong influencer skills, and ability to make complex decisions at a fast pace will play a crucial role in delivering creative excellence and maintaining brand integrity.

Who you are
As a Brand Expression and Governance Executive for Sainsbury's, you are an experienced brand guardian with a strong passion for quality, consistency, and creative excellence. With your expertise in managing and influencing stakeholders, you build and maintain collaborative relationships across the business, ensuring the visual identities and brand toolkits for each brand are upheld. Your strong attention to detail and expertise in brand guidelines enable you to provide clear and consistent feedback on creative work, balancing the protection of the brand with practicality. With your ability to work at pace and manage multiple projects, you thrive in an environment that requires making complex decisions and adapting creative for different marketing channels. Your strong judgement, excellent stakeholder management skills, and ability to deliver impactful presentations make you a valuable asset to the Brand Expression and Governance Team.

We are committed to being a truly inclusive retailer, so you’ll be welcomed whoever you are and wherever you work. Around here, there’s always the chance to try something new - whether that’s as part of an evolving team or somewhere else across the business - and we take development seriously and promise to support you. We also recognise and celebrate colleagues when they go the extra mile and, where possible, offer flexible working. When you join our team, we’ll also offer you an amazing range of benefits. Here are some of them:
