Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the counter in a fast-paced bakery environment
- Ensure excellent customer service by assisting customers with their orders and providing recommendations
- Manage inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed - Putting up orders as received by wholesale customers
- Train and supervise counter staff to maintain high standards of service
- Upsell menu items to increase sales and enhance customer experience
- Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a bakery or restaurant setting
- Strong upselling skills with a customer-oriented approach
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices
