Job description

Job Title: Breakfast & After School Club Manager
Location: Goring Primary School, Goring on Thames, Reading RG8 0BG
Hours: 25 per week (up to 40 hrs per week available during school holidays if desired)
Operational Hours: 7:30 am - 9:00 am & 15.00 - 18:00 pm, Monday to Friday during term time.
NB: The successful candidate will attend a weekly online Tuesday meeting from 10.30 - 11.30 & 9.30 - 10.30 Thursday online Training.
Additional hours paid for planning & preparation time
Pay: up to GBP13.00 per hour (Plus Holiday Pay)
Contract: Term Time Only or Permanent contracts available - with the option to work at our holiday club
Parking available onsite

  • Do you want to be responsible for helping run a team who have the same goals as you? Our Deputy Club Manager will support in managing, directing and assisting team members in their delivery of a safe and effective programme, ensuring a motivated and happy team.
  • Are you organised and a process-driven individual? The children in our care are our responsibility and we have protocols and policies we need to follow, we need our Deputy Club Managers to help implement these with team members.
  • Do you want to make a difference and inspire the next generation? We need someone to provide inclusive, fun, and engaging care for our children while inspiring them to explore their interests.
  • Are you a good communicator who is super positive, friendly, and approachable? As a Deputy Club Manager you will ensure that there is effective communication between your Club Manager, venue, your team, parents, the school or host leisure centre and Central Operations.
  • Are you proactive, reliable, and flexible and would relish creating an environment where people and children can thrive? You would help plan then supervise and deliver planned activities with structure and enthusiasm. This includes a wide range from multi sports, games, arts & crafts, downtime and structured play.
