Breast Radiologist

Day Webster Recruitment Agency is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Breast Radiologist to join our doctor's division. As a Breast Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and management of breast conditions, providing high-quality imaging services to patients. Responsibilities include performing and interpreting mammograms, ultrasound scans, and breast MRI scans, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, and providing expert advice and support to clinicians.
Key Responsibilities:

• Performing and interpreting mammograms, ultrasound scans, and breast MRI scans
• Conducting image-guided breast biopsies and other interventional procedures
• Collaborating with breast surgeons, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and contribute to treatment decisions
• Ensuring compliance with clinical governance, quality standards, and professional regulations
• Contributing to audit, research, and quality improvement initiatives in breast imaging

Requirements:

• Full GMC registration and a license to practice
• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
• Completion of specialist training in Radiology
• Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists or equivalent qualification
• Subspecialty training or experience in Breast Radiology
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Consultant Breast Radiologist
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills
