Company Description

As a Brewing and Packaging Hygiene Operator you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the hygiene standards of the brewery and the two packaging sites. This role is important to keep all sites and equipment clean and hygienic, which underpins the quality production of our beer. You will be part of a two person team, reporting to the Brewing Quality Technologist, working five 7 hour day shifts from Sunday to Thursday. Working 8am-3pm Monday-Thursday, with flexibility on your Sunday shift. You will spend three days a week in the brewery, one day in bottling and one day in draught beer.

Job Description

Your role as Brewing and Packaging Hygiene Operator:

  • Conform to all Health & Safety requirements and take an active role in positive health and safety behaviours in the Brewery and Packaging Departments.
  • Undertake role related training including Chemical Awareness and Manual Handling.
  • Ensure that all production areas are maintained in a clean and hygienic manner.
  • Management of all waste streams, including recycling.
  • Gain a basic awareness and understanding of plant and processes, and report any concerns (leaks, spillages, etc) to the appropriate departments.
