Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and building plans
- Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, or other masonry materials
- Mix mortar or other adhesives to the right consistency
- Set up scaffolding or other necessary equipment
- Ensure that structures are level, plumb, and aligned correctly
- Repair and replace damaged bricks or masonry units
- Collaborate with other construction workers, such as carpenters and plumbers
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Bricklayer (2 years preferred)
- Proficient in laying bricks and other masonry materials
- Knowledge of different bricklaying techniques and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and building plans
- Attention to detail and precision
- Physical stamina and strength
- Excellent problem-solving skills
