Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret project blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand the scope of work.
- Measure and cut bricks and other materials to specified sizes, using hand tools and power tools.
- Lay bricks, blocks, and other types of building stones to construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, arches, and other structures.
- Apply mortar with trowels and other hand tools to bind materials and fill the spaces between bricks.
- Use levels, rules, plumb bobs, and framing squares to ensure accuracy in the structure.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on existing masonry structures.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to industry safety standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bricklayer or in a similar masonry role.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to bricklaying and masonry work.
- Strong understanding of construction techniques and masonry methods.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring the quality of workmanship.
- Physical stamina and strength for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of physical activity.
- Basic knowledge of related construction fields (e.g., carpentry, electrical, plumbing) is an advantage.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills.
Additional Requirements for Overseas Candidates:
- B1 Level English Language Proficiency Certificate, to ensure effective communication within our diverse team.
