Bricklayer

 Our client is a property management and development company who are going through a good period of expansion.
They are currently looking for a bricklayer to join their team

Responsibilities:

• Lay and bind bricks, blocks, or stones to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures
• Read and interpret blueprints or drawings to determine specifications and materials needed - Measure and cut materials to the required size using power tools or hand tools
• Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto the construction site using trowels or other tools
• Align bricks or stones and ensure they are level and plumb
• Apply finishing touches such as pointing, cleaning, or sealing bricks

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Brick Mason or similar role
• Proficient in masonry techniques and the use of power tools and hand tools
• Ability to read blueprints or drawings and interpret construction plans
• Knowledge of different types of bricks, blocks, stones, and their uses
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
