Job Overview: We are seeking a Brick Mason to join our team in constructing and repairing brickwork for various projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in masonry, carpentry, and bricklaying, with proficiency in using both power and hand tools. However, we are also looking at trainees, that may not have a lot of experience, training will will be provided in this instance.
Duties:
- Constructing walls, partitions, fireplaces, chimneys, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and natural stones
- Reading and interpreting blueprints or specifications to determine the layout of masonry structures
- Cutting or breaking bricks to fit around windows, doors, openings, or corners
- Mixing mortar and grout according to standard formulas
- Applying and finishing mortar or concrete with trowels or other tools
- Ensuring that completed work meets required specifications and quality standards
- Repairing existing masonry structures by replacing bricks or mortar

- Plastering: 1 year (preferred)
