Bridal Sales Consultant / Stylist

We are a leading bridal boutique based in Edinburgh and are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Bridal Stylist to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Consultation and Styling: Provide personalized and attentive consultations to brides, understanding their preferences, style, and vision for their wedding day. Assist brides in selecting the perfect bridal gown and accessories.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest bridal trends, designers, and collections. Have a deep understanding of the inventory to guide brides through the selection process and offer expert advice.
• Sales Expertise: Drive sales through effective communication and a consultative sales approach. Utilize your experience in closing sales to help brides make confident and satisfying purchase decisions.
• Fashion Enthusiasm: Bring a genuine interest and passion for fashion to the role, staying current with the latest trends and styles to provide expert guidance to brides.
• Customer Service: Ensure an exceptional customer experience by building rapport with brides, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
• Alteration Coordination: Collaborate with the alterations team to ensure a seamless process for brides in need of gown alterations. Communicate effectively to meet timelines and expectations.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other bridal stylists, sales associates, and management to contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment. Share insights and collaborate on ways to enhance the overall customer experience.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in bridal styling, fashion retail, or a related field. Proven experience in closing sales.
• Fashion Knowledge: A keen sense of fashion trends, styles, and an understanding of various body types.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with brides and provide exceptional customer service.
• Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail is crucial when assisting brides with gown selection and coordinating alterations.
• Passion: A genuine passion for the bridal industry and a desire to contribute to the happiness of brides during this special time in their lives.
• Sales Drive: Must be highly motivated, driven, and possess a track record of successfully closing sales.
• Fashion Interest: Display a genuine interest in fashion and a commitment to staying informed about the latest trends.
• Flexibility: Ability to work weekends and evenings as required by the bridal boutique's schedule.
