We are looking for a hardworking, passionate individual.
Must has previous bridal wear experience or luxury retail of at least one year.
Hours expected to work 9.30am-5.30pm Tuesdays- Saturdays and may be required to work some extra time. Part-time of 3 days available.
You will be required to:
Greet customers and explain the bridal appointment process.
Dress brides.
Advise on styles and shapes and be able to use own initiative to advise brides.
Take bridal dresses into the changing area and tidy them away once finished. Must be able to lift dresses and will be standing for long periods of time during busy days.
Keep the shop clean and maintained throughout the day. Mirrors may need to be cleaned between appointments. Vacuum/mop floors at the end of the day and the desk must be kept clean and tidy at all times.
Be able to use online diary to view appointments and make appointments. Be able to use online portals to order dresses for brides, check stock, shipment dates and dress options. Be able to email back enquiry responses and arrange bridal appointments. Deal with customers and suppliers. Order supplies such as printing and stationary and haberdashery. Occasionally will need to update stock sheets and do inventories. Will be required to arrange renewal of utility contracts. Must be capable to do admin work on the computer using own initiative and must be able to read and write fluent English. Be able to process payments.
Will be required to assist in the workroom whilst no customers in the shop. To fix alteration schedules for the week. Assist the seamstresses with finding and preparing dresses and veils for their fitting.

Will be required to help make veils, ie design lace on veiling, handbeading. Unstitching lace hems on gowns. Steam sample and brides order gowns. Some other basic sewing preparations. Must be willing to learn these skills if not already able to.
Shop hours are usually 10am-5pm but occasionally we require you to work from 9am - 6pm.
Great environment to be working in. Must be a friendly and chatty person who enjoys meeting new customers.
Must be exceptionally organised, passionate and have a can do attitude. Must to be able to use own initiative.
Ideal if you are able to deal with social media posts on Instagram and Facebook.
Luxury retail, bridalwear retail or sales background preferred.
Must dress appropriately for luxury sales position so no casual wear.
Salary £18,000 - £22,000 per annum depending on experience.
