Building Control Surveyor – Cambridge - £55,000 - £65,000 + Benefits

A large, well renowned Building Approved Inspector with various offices throughout the South of England, are seeking a new Building Control Surveyor to be based out of their Central Cambridge offices.

Would suit someone local to Cambridge to attend the office 2 to 3 days a week and feel part of their team of likeminded Building Control professionals.

This exciting opportunity will see you support and advise on projects in the residential, domestic and commercial sectors around the North London remit predominantly, some projects may be slightly further however hybrid working is available.

Responsibilities of the Building Control Surveyor include:

• Deliver a high quality Building Control service that matches the companies vision
• Supporting clients with building project ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations.
• Undertaking plan checking and submissions for building regulation approval
• Carry out site inspections and provide inspection reports.

The Building Control Surveyor should ideally hold:

• Experience in providing Building Control Surveying services on a variety of projects.
• Membership with CABE, CIOB and / or RICS.
• Up to date on new building regulations and the new Building Safety Act
• Ability to manage a portfolio of projects and nurture existing client base
