McCarthy Stone are recruiting a Buildings Maintenance Supervisor on a permanent basis to join our team to cover our developments across South London and Surrey.
As a Buildings Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintenance, repairs and improvements to our developments working in conjunction with our planning team and alongside our development managers for the benefit of our communities.
Location: Across South London and Surrey
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience, plus a company van & benefits
About the role
Under the supervision of the Customer Services Manager, the Buildings Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all painting and decorating and maintenance tasks as relative to product care and product finishes. You will undertake all painting and decorating duties within sold and unsold apartments and will include a range of other responsibilities such as:
- Utilising the property management system to respond to and update activities as assigned on a daily basis
- Supporting the delivery of key business performance targets and of team Service Level Agreements to meet wider company business objectives
- Providing a cost effective and professional service to customers requiring repairs at first occupation, an ongoing quality assurance programme and effective after sales customer services function.
- Supporting the Company culture and values and the delivery of high levels of business performance and customer satisfaction
- The position demands a high level of quality in workmanship and attention to detail in the execution of all tasks.
About you
- Must be prepared to travel, company van will be supplied. Own tools required.
- Hands on experience in product repairs and maintenance
- A strong knowledge in surface preparation, application and control of finishing products with all round experience on Interior Finishes
- Trade apprenticeship or other form of register training in the disciplines of painting / decorating & civil finishes
- Technical qualification in building such as City & Guilds
- Have or be working towards a relevant Property Manager qualification
- Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card is desirable
