Building Services Junior Mechanical Engineer (Full Time)

Job Title: Junior Mechanical Engineer.

Terms: Full Time.

Salary/Rate: Up to £24k Per Annum

Requirements: A driving licence with willingness to travel would be useful

About the Role:

We are looking for a Junior Mechanical Engineer to work as part of our team, who will work alongside a senior Mechanical Engineer to grow into our business. There are options to continue qualifications alongside the role.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a design team delivering reports, specifications, performance, and detailed design solutions relating to HVAC services.

· Working closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors of in-house and external project teams.

· Ensure that the design and maintenance of building systems meets legislative and health and safety requirements.

· Advise clients on energy use, conservation, and sustainability in a range of Building Services projects, aiming to minimise the environmental impact and reduce the carbon footprint.

· Work in IES and other forms of thermal modelling software to produce SBEM and EPC reports.

Candidate Requirements:

• Someone who can work as part of a team.

• Good vocal and written skills.

• Knowledge of CAD is useful.

• Experience of Building Services is useful.

Pay: Up to £24,000.00 per year
