Building Surveyor

As we continue to expand our portfolio, we are seeking a talented Building Surveyor with experience in coordinating Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) projects to join our team.
Position Overview:
As a Building Surveyor focusing on project coordination for DFG projects, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of projects from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include assisting with project management tasks, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring projects are executed in line with budget, schedule, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the project management and delivery of Disabled Facilities Grant projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate DFG projects within the Property Services team, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and strategy.
- Assist with project management tasks, including organising meetings, preparing documentation, and tracking project progress.
- Liaise with stakeholders to gather project requirements and provide updates on project status.
- Assist with providing advice on specifications, costs, and programme for individual projects.
- Attend meetings and events as required to support project objectives and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- HNC in Construction or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in coordinating construction projects, preferably within the context of Disabled Facilities Grant projects.
- Knowledge of DFG regulations, processes, and requirements is desirable.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software is advantageous.
Location: Methyr Tydfil, UK
Job Specifics:
- 3 Days a Week
- 9am to 5pm
- Pay Rate: £25 PAYE
