Position Overview: We are seeking a diligent and hard working person to join our team and help with the smooth functioning of our garage operations and the efficiency of our fleet of 40 vehicles.
You will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and professional appearance of our buses, contributing to the overall positive experience of our passengers.

Hours of work: Sunday 10:00 am to 14:30 pm Tuesday to Friday 17:00 pm to 21:00 pm (overtime may be required)
Rate of pay £11.44 per hour normal time
Location: the role will be based at Lockerbie with travel to Biggar on occasion (company transport will be provided to Biggar, you will require to have a full clean driving license.)

Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning of buses, including interior surfaces.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove dirt, debris, and stains.
- Clean and sanitise seats, windows, handrails, and other high-touch surfaces.
- Empty bins and replace liners as needed.
- Clean and disinfect toilet (if applicable) to maintain hygiene standards.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies to ensure availability.
- Report any damage, graffiti, or maintenance issues to supervisors.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use protective equipment when handling cleaning chemicals.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with passengers and colleagues.
Qualifications and Attributes:
- High standards of cleanliness and professional pride in a job well done
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to cleaning processes would be advantageous.
- Flexibility to work different shifts where necessary.
- Full clean driving licence.
