Bus Driver - Gatwick Hoppa

Due to the continued sucess of Gatwicks premium airport to hotel bus service, Gatwick Hoppa is seeking more full time Bus Drivers to operate our Hoppa service between local hotels and Gatwick Airport terminals.

Purpose of the Role

Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a safe, efficient and comfortable journey throughout the network of bus services.

Activities Responsible for & Key Tasks

• Ensuring satisfied customers through polite, hospitable and cooperative interaction.
• Checking the condition of the vehicle prior to commencing service and reporting any defect or damage to the Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Acknowledging all customers that board the bus, assist with luggage, establish terminal required.
• Constantly providing and ensuring a clean and safe environment for customers and colleagues by operating all cleaning procedures to quality standards.
• Refuelling the Bus according to fuel handling procedures.
• Conducting visible, regular patrols to maintain a clean, safe and healthy operating environment.
• Completing all administrative tasks associated with your role accurately and on time.
• Handling cash & be able to operate a basic ticketing system

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

• A full clean UK driving licence is essential.
• Category D on Drivers Licence.
• PCV Licence
• CPC Driver Qualification Card
• Previous experience of working in a bus driving role within a customer service environment.
• Have a flexible attitude to work.
• Excellent communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time

Salary: £13 to £18 per hour

Ability to commute:

• London / Gatwick Airport, West Sussex: reliably commute

Pay: £16.00-£19.00 per hour
