Job description

Salary: 10.18 per hour plus Veolia benefits (this will increase as of 1st of April)
Location:Freeth Street, Nottingham NG2 3GT
Programme Duration: 18 months

Apprenticeship Programme;
During this programme, we'll help you develop your practical and behavioural skills and support you in gaining the technical and professional knowledge required for you to succeed in your career.
As well as this, you'll also gain the Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration qualification.
With many of our colleagues starting as apprentices, you'll receive full support and guidance from everyone throughout.
By the end of your apprenticeship, you'll have received industry-standard training and attained qualifications that will enable you to progress and reach your full potential.
What you'll be doing;
- Use of Google Suite; Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Mail
- Stationery, lunch, refreshments and equipment ordering
- Filing/storage and archiving of documentation
- Diary management and organising meetings
- Data management, ensuring accuracy of data storage compliant with GDPR
- Liaising with external and internal customers, teams and departments and responding to queries including e-mails, telephone calls, actioning queries and reporting information where relevant
- Requesting Purchase Orders for goods and equipment, processing and receipting invoices
standards are maintained; challenging and raising queries where differences are identified and providing support and solutions for teams
- Processing paint requests, completion of relevant paperwork and reporting where required
- Processing waste traffic movements at a busy weighbridge and disposal site
- Processing mail-in and mail-out daily
- Receiving and providing induction to visitors to the site
- General data housekeeping ensuring the accuracy of data storage compliant with GDPR
- Supporting all team activity and processes across the Nottinghamshire Contract
What we're looking for;
- A minimum of Maths and English GCSE Grade 4/C (or equivalent) achieved or predicted and/or be willing and able to achieve Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English
- Willingness to learn new skills
- An interest in administration
- Willingness to learn how to provide excellent customer service and support
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player who is willing to get stuck in and lean and be part of a great team
