Business Advisor

Our client, a well-established and respected organisation in Cambridgeshire is actively looking to appoint an experienced Business Advisor to join their team.
As the Business Advisor, you will really enjoy being able to help advise and support organisations,
along their business journey as you will have a good understanding and experience of getting the
best out of their business whether it's getting them ready to scale, meeting and networking with the
right people or providing mentoring.
Due to the increased volume of work, our client is looking for someone who knows the Cambridge.
Cluster and looking to make a change in their role.  This position with have you working with a
supportive team in an autonomous role that will have you involved on a variety of projects.
As the Business Advisor you will be:

• Working with businesses to understand their journey and use your specialist skills and tools provided to assess and understand the specific needs of innovative and high-growth potential SMEs.
• Providing tailored support to the companies’ growth and scaling needs, connecting them with people and opportunities that will affect their growth both in the UK and internationally.
• Providing funding and finance support to help clients become more investment-ready and raise the funds they require for growth.
• Generating a pipeline of leads, identifying potential companies that require business support.
• Delivering presentations, workshops, attending conferences, and leading events.  
• Working with the team to deliver reporting, development of success stories/case studies.
• Part of the public-facing team of the organisation and for networking and speaking events
• Able to create content and deliver training and workshops.

 As the Business Advisor you will have:

• Experience of working in successful and growing businesses across various sectors
• Experience of working as a Business Advisor or Business Coach
• Good connections and network in and around the Cambridge Cluster and East of England region
