What you’ll do as a Business Analyst
- be aware of user needs and familiar with writing high quality user stories to reflect these needs
- Map business processes, identify associated costs and pain points as well as opportunities to improve them.
- help identify, define, and manage the objectives of a business and will specify requirements from both a business and user perspective

- work with a range of stakeholders, tailoring communication to their needs, and work with teams to build relationships while also meeting user needs
- help define test conditions, identify issues and risks associated with work while being able to analyse and report test activities and results
- collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (including policy people, product people, user researchers and technical architects) to help understand user needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
- support the development of robust business cases - help to identify and analyse potential benefits, options for achieving those benefits and associated business risks
- Understand the difference between user needs and the desires of the user
What we’re looking for
- experience of working as a Business Analyst or a related profession
- practical experience in process modelling and requirements gathering
- experience of managing internal and external stakeholders
- good presentation, facilitation and communication skills
- experience of being an active collaborator, who can work effectively with user researchers and product managers
- problem solving skills that will support decision-making
