We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) with experience of working in the operations division of asset management firms. The purpose of this role is the help streamline the fund management firm's finance department's processes.

The ideal candidate must possess a comprehensive understanding of Investment Management back-office operations and be adept at mapping out processes, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending improvements.

Collaborating closely with the finance lead, the BA will contribute to the successful implementation of process optimization projects.

Responsibilities:

• Thorough analysis and documentation of current finance department processes.
• Proactive identification of process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement:
• Measurable process improvement recommendations: Propose clear and actionable recommendations to enhance process efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance, with a focus on asset management operations.
• Creation of comprehensive and informative process maps and documentation.
• Effective communication of process improvement proposals
• Collaborative implementation of process improvement initiatives
• Continuous review and updates to process documentation.

Requirements

• Experience in Investment Management back-office operations and process improvement is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to map out and document complex processes effectively within the asset management context.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve process inefficiencies specific to asset management operations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex information clearly and persuasively to a diverse audience, particularly stakeholders within the asset management industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, is essential.

This is an urgent requirement and this contract is likely to last 12 months. Interviews can commence quickly.
