Business And Management Assessor/Iqa

Morgan Hunt are currently working with a leading FE College in Cambridgeshire seeking an individual to join their team as an Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) for their Business and Management apprenticeship program. As an IQA, you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and consistency of training and assessment provided to apprentices. Responsibilities include monitoring assessment processes, maintaining standards, providing feedback to assessors, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This is a full-time temporary position until the end of July.

The Business and Management IQA will be responsible for:

• Assist in formulating IQA strategies aligned with the College's IQA policies.
• Develop and update IQA plans in accordance with established protocols.
• Provide guidance, assistance, and mentorship to designated Assessors as outlined in the IQA strategy.
• Attend standardization meetings and take a leadership role when appropriate.
• Collaborate with WBL Managers to identify areas for enhancing assessment and quality assurance procedures.
• Contribute to and engage in external quality assurance assessments.
• Foster positive relationships with awarding organizations to stay abreast of qualification updates.
• Ensure Assessors under your purview maintain accurate tracking documents to facilitate internal quality assurance in line with the agreed-upon strategy.
• Manage an assessment and IQA workload effectively.

The Business and Management IQA will need to have:

• Attainment of a Level 3 vocational qualification pertinent to the role, along with relevant vocational Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• Completion of either Level 3 TAQA or Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Qualifications (or equivalent qualifications such as A1, etc).
• Achievement of a Level 3 Internal Quality Assurance Qualification.
