Salary: Up to £44k (doe)
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Head Office - West Didsbury

You’ll be working with the business to support and deliver improvements to the portfolio of Business Applications.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide application support, configuration management and change implementation for applications in use.
  • Provide support for associated interfaces, mobile working software and public web portals/apps.
  • Design, develop and deliver training to colleagues and other users of the Business Applications
  • Work with the business to investigate, evaluate and recommend business options, providing suitable choices to enable the best operation of applications across the business.
  • Provide project resource in the implementation of new or upgrade of applications, to include training, interfaces and delivery of application to user based teams.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of quality data within applications, liaising with operational departments to develop and advise on business processes as appropriate to ensure robust data integrity and management.
  • Conduct lessons learned and benefit realisation assessments at the end of new initiatives/implementations.
  • Review the use of the applications to ensure compliance with process and the effectiveness of processes are maintained.
  • Development of automation processes using a variety of tools, to support the Business Applications and processes.
  • Contributing to the companies knowledge base through the creation of technical guides, How-to Guides and FAQs.
  • Participate on projects to onboard new Business Applications to ensure effective design, embedding and support

What you’ll need:

  • Extensive knowledge of a housing management system and processes
  • Application support experience
  • Use of full range of Microsoft Office
  • Basic knowledge of SQL
  • Experience of development using automation tools (taskcentre, power automate)
  • Experience of a wide range of tech solutions and techniques.
  • Ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner when working under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective liaison with colleagues/other stakeholders to give information/find information/resolve problems and design solutions
  • Experience of working in a structured change management environment
  • Organisation skills and ability to manage work load effectively
  • Ability to manage, challenge and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Willingness to learn new skills and emerging technologies
