We are seeking a dynamic and strategic person to join the Wholesale Transformation Team in the role of Business Architecture Senior Manager.

The Business Architecture Senior Manager is integral to the Wholesale Transformation Team. Reporting to Wholesale Head of Business Architecture and Design, the role will focus on Value Stream operating model design and a broader current as well as a future Wholesale Business Architecture blueprint. It will also explore a range of strategic and regulatory initiatives leveraging robust Business Architecture and agile ways of working.

The role holder is expected to work closely with the Group Business Architecture team as well as Business Architects in other areas. 

In this role, you will:

• Support the running of Wholesale Business Architecture, developing key components including value streams, business services catalogue, global processes and Wholesale capabilities
• Assist in establishing a governance process for key architectural decisions
• Act as a delegate for the Head of Architecture in the design authority and provide judgement expertise as required
• Work closely with primary change programmes to ensure that architecture, technology and transformation services are appropriately resourced, including future state definition
• Apply the Business Architecture framework to help operationalise key business outcomes through the use of an agile stream methodology   
• Translate key strategic initiatives into a coherent design and support Business Architecture Tooling Implementation 
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Wholesale sector while building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders   
• Support integration of businesses and tech strategy through identification of common capabilities and convergence of key delivery streams

To be successful in this role you should have:

• A working knowledge and experience of Business Architecture mapping, blueprinting, business context creation, framing architecture analysis, initiative identification and road mapping
• Relevant experience with HSBC, a global bank or top tier management consulting firm
• An understanding of change management and end to end project management
• An understanding of banking products, propositions and services as well as the regulatory framework   
• An ability to lead and influence global and complex teams 
• A strong working knowledge of digital and technical areas in an operational or consulting capacity
• Experience of implementing Lean Six Sigma methodology, Design Thinking, Systems Thinking as well as business architecture tooling e.g. SAG ARIS
• Knowledge and experience of the financial service industry, key business drivers and associated risk factors

This is a hybrid role based at Canary Wharf, London.
