The Business Consultant for Europe Region will lead business consulting activities in the region. This role will support global Business Consulting activities as well as Regional Solutions Consulting activities across the region with the following activities:
- C-level engagements & presentation to drive top-to-top (C-level) engagement in Europe between Honeywell and customer executives. This includes understanding the customer’s operating model value levers; crafting a hypothesis on collaboration areas; developing outside-in business cases; and leading presentations with senior customer management.
- Diagnostic workshop & studies for industrial digitalization, including study planning & proposal writing, leading the diagnostic study team (typical engagement management role with 2-5 team members); being the main focal point for customers during the study; and writing final deliverables.
- Business development & strategy setting: Work independently with Honeywell executive leadership on strategic corporate initiatives such as innovative Go-to-Market (GTM) approaches for new products (e.g., customer segmentation, VoC, product-market fit).
- Sales support and transformation: Tracking value delivery of on-going contracts and consolidate (sometimes build) case studies; supporting sales in pipeline development (e.g., demo, conference); supporting broader organization to shift from traditional product to value focused selling.
- Conduct internal trainings / Share best practice & case studies.
- Prior consulting experience at Senior Associate to Engagement Manager / Project Lead level at leading Consulting firms in Strategy and/or operations functions
- Industry knowledge and/or experience in Oil & Gas, Chemicals, MMM.
- Master’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical) highly preferred
- Outstanding client-facing communication skills, including deep experience in preparing and delivering C-suite level presentations and executive communications.
- Outstanding analytical problem-solving skills, including ability to quickly identify and define business drivers and customer needs. Associated quantitative skills, including financial modelling, scenario planning, value analysis etc.
- Engaging in top digitization initiatives with customers and serving as a partner in digitization
- Working on exciting, high profile strategic topics to the business with exposure to senior leadership
- Learning with motivated and highly skilled colleagues – becoming a thought leader in digitization
