The role
As a Business Development and Capture Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will drive our growth beyond the services and projects currently delivered, collaborating and leading the capture and Business Development processes for exciting and challenging cutting edge projects. You will play a key role in growing our Tactical Communications portfolio of capabilities.
Day to day, you'll be involved in:
- Delivery of strategic business growth, through the pro-active pursuit of competitive opportunities
- Actively supporting both internal (organic) business growth and smaller adjacent and external "new" market opportunities, ensuring coherence with functional resources, Business Development and Strategy
- Co-operation with the Capability Leaders, develop and deliver a clear strategic campaign strategy to target business opportunities, leveraging Sense and Connect, and wider Babcock capability and expertise, promoting a diversified portfolio
- Programme/Portfolio management of the delivery of these strategic campaigns from formulation to contract mobilisation
- Providing guidance through to Business Development, Senior Operational Delivery managers and Project Managers across the business stream
This role provides flexible hybrid working with one day per week in the office and the remainder working from home.
Experience of the Business Development and Capture Manager:
- Experience in the domain of Tactical, Strategic or Commercial Communications
- Experience in Business capture, solution Development andBusiness Development with demonstrable success in previous roles
- Demonstrate an understanding of key opportunities within the Land & Maritime environment(s) - Desirable
- Experience and credibility working across Tri Service UK MOD and International markets sectors would be advantageous
Qualifications for the Business Development and Capture Manager (Communications):
