Our client, an established and expanding Financial Services company, are looking to recruit a highly professional, presentable and go-getting Business Development Executive to join their dynamic team in Salisbury. The ideal candidate will be driven by success and results and competitive by nature.

For this position you must have a UK Driving Licence and a Sales / Business Development background (preferably B2B) is essential.

Responsibilities as a Business Development Consultant

  • Actively and tenaciously seek out new business opportunities via sales, cold calling, networking events and identifying opportunities
  • Prospecting - Cold calling by phone, face to face, email, and other sales channels with a view to creating sales appointments and closing opportunities
  • Visiting prospects to promote vehicle contract hire solutions
  • Preparing sales proposals and presenting to prospects
  • Generate sales quotations and follow up all opportunities in a quick and professional manner. Maintain a full record of activity via CRM system
  • Work closely with teams across various departments, i.e., Administration and Marketing to understand the day to day running of our business as well our sales processes
  • In addition to the duties and responsibilities, the job holder is required to perform other duties as reasonably assigned by the manager from time to time

Experience / Skills

  • Full UK Driving Licence is required
  • Sales background and Business Development (preferably B2B sales) is essential
  • Automotive experience would advantageous
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills are key - written and verbal
  • Ability to engage with customers face to face and via the telephone
  • Strong time management and day to day organisational skills
  • A passion and a track record for constantly delivering results
  • Tenacious and competitive
  • The ability to form long term business relationships
  • Well-developed business acumen and understanding of sales processes
  • Professional and well presented

Salary: £35,000 per annum + comms

Full Time: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
