Cingularity is a highly specialised global fibre network provider enabling premium live broadcast TV transmission.

Cingularity was acquired by IMG Media in September 2022 to provide the expertise to guide IMG’s remote production evolution toward a hybrid model of fibre, satellite, cloud and IP
What You'll Do:
Cingularity is seeking a dynamic Business Development Director with a strong consultative sales background to join its sales team and help pave the way during our development and expansion over the coming years.
The position is primarily based in London at our office 28 Hanbury Street, London, E1 6QR.
The Business Development Director will manage a portfolio of accounts and grows sales across these accounts. This includes developing relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs, and proposing solutions based on these.
The Business Development Director will also manage the sales process from start to finish and ensure that all deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at target companies by understanding their needs and how Cingularity’s products and services can help them.
  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities by prospecting for new customers, understanding their needs, and how Cingularity’s products and services can help them.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals by understanding the customer's needs and negotiating a price acceptable to both parties.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to close by tracking the progress of each sale and ensuring that all deadlines are met.
  • Provide ongoing support to customers after the sale by understanding their needs and providing them with the support they need to use your products or services effectively.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by developing and executing sales strategies and tactics.
  • Report on sales activity and performance by tracking the progress of each sale and by providing information to management.
  • Stay current on industry trends and developments by reading trade publications and attending industry events.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics by understanding the customer's needs and developing strategies and tactics to help you meet those needs.
  • Build and maintain a positive reputation for the company by providing excellent customer service and building relationships with key decision-makers.
Knowledge and Experience
  • Typically, 5+ years experience within sales as a Sales Director or similar.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and must communicate effectively with customers, prospects, and colleagues.
  • Good technical understanding of contribution and distribution networks
  • Ability to conceptualise bespoke customer solutions
  • Excellent negotiation skills and negotiating deals beneficial to both parties are vital.
  • Experience in the broadcast technology sector.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to identify and solve customer problems, understand their challenges, and offer practical solutions.
  • Ability to keep track of multiple leads, deadlines, and tasks; and manage time efficiently.
  • Self-motivation and drive to succeed; ability to set goals and work hard to achieve them.
