If you are an experienced Business Development Executive looking to take the next step in your career, we have a unique opportunity for you to join a product wholesaler based in Greenock.

Your rate of pay and hours of work

Your work schedule will be from Monday to Friday, with regular hours from 9 AM to 5 PM. In terms of compensation, you can expect to earn between £28,000 and £30,000 per year. Once you have completed your training, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a hybrid working arrangement. This means you'll have the flexibility to work both remotely and in the office, providing a balanced approach to your work-life routine.

Responsibilities in your new role

The Business Development Executive holds the responsibility of driving sales and brand development in a specific territory or account base. They are tasked with identifying and cultivating new business leads and opportunities and supporting market strategy through research, planning, and execution. Their role involves disrupting established networks and supply chains, gathering market intelligence, and managing the development and maintenance of accounts. Additionally, they are responsible for identifying and engaging with senior contacts, staying updated on products and competitors, surpassing sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs), attending industry events, and travelling for overseas meetings.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We are looking for a talented individual who has previous experience working as a Business Development Executive or similar role. You should also have strong knowledge of office software packages (Excel/Word), be well-versed in customer service principles as well as being highly customer-focused at all times. A second language would be highly advantageous but is not essential.
