Business Development Lead / Head of Sales – Private & Public Sector Technology Consulting - £60,000-£100,000 + bonus - Remote

The Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager / Head of Sales to lead their sales capability. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership, particularly within the technology sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both private and public sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Work closely with the founder and capability leads

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales within the tech industry.
  • Strong understanding of both private and public sector business environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and achieve targets.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed – this is remote first role
