The role:
- As Business Development Leader you will develop relationships with new and existing accounts using a consultative first approach.
- Identify new and emerging opportunities with commercial potential.
- Follow emerging industry trends and lead strategy in the consumer sector
- Delivering outstanding, customer-focused service.
About you:
- You will have a strong understanding of product development and either worked with product development consultancies or for a product development consultancy previously.
- Strong knowledge of the FMCG sector.
- Exceptional Business Development skills, ideally with existing relationships within FMCG clients
- Experience with a product development consultancy
- Strong academic background, with a degree in a technical related field and ideally post graduate qualifications
- Willing to travel within the UK as well as internationally.
The package:
- Circa £90,000 plus company bonus

This Business Development Director position would particularly suit candidates based in Cambridge or the surrounding locations such as Huntingdon, Peterborough, Royston, Hertford, Hatfield and Bedford. However, there is the opportunity to have a split/home based role so it could also appeal to candidates based in Norwich, Milton Keynes, Watford or even Northamptonshire.
